Nuremberg, September 25th, 2019 | With the founding of Choice Austria GmbH on September 7th 2019, mobility service provider Choice from Nuremberg took the next step towards its internationalization. The goal of the foreign subsidiary is to contribute to the agile Austrian mobility landscape. New and existing customers such as vehicle manufacturers or importers, independent mobility providers, decision-makers from research and politics as well as local districts and municipalities are supported in the development and implementation of sustainable, tailor-made and forward-looking mobility concepts.
Choice Austria GmbH brings a comprehensive and fully customizable range of services to Austria, including (corporate) carsharing, car subscription models, web and app development, integrated mobility, mobility-as-a-service and innovative research projects. The company is not only targeting metropolitan areas but wants to establish new mobility services on the countryside as well.
With Harald Böttcher, a long-standing employee of the German parent company and excellent industry expert returns to his former workplace. Böttcher takes over the position of Managing Director of Choice Austria GmbH. "The mobility market is changing drastically. There is a lot of experimentation and testing going on right now,” says Böttcher. “At Choice, we are preparing our partners for the mobility of tomorrow. I am looking forward to my new field of responsibility.”
Barbara Schmoll, Director of International Business Development of Choice GmbH, is responsible for the expansion of the business fields in international markets. "I am delighted that Choice Austria is now our second operational Choice start-up in Europe. Meanwhile, we are working to offer our range of mobility services in even more European countries," comments Schmoll on the development of the company.
